Rhön Blick vom Felsgrat der Milseburg zur Wasserkuppe. Der geheimnisvolle Name »Rhön« kommt wahrscheinlich vom keltischen »raino«, Hügelland. Eine reichlich prosaische Bezeichnung für ein Mittelgebirge. Und doch könnte sie nicht treffender sein, denn Hügel gibt es hier in Hülle und Fülle - aber nicht einfach nur Hügel, sondern eigentlich alles, was man irgendwie mit einem Hügelland in Verbindung bringen könnte, ein Mosaik von vulkanischen Kuppen, blumigen Hochplateaus, waldigen Hängen und sanft gewellten Tälern. But it couldn't be more accurate, because there's a plenty of everything that's related to hills: a mosaic of volcanic cones, flowering plateaus, wooded slopes and rolling valleys.
